About Ahmed

It’s time for a change

Committed to Cost of Living, Housing, Healthcare and Human Rights

I’m Ahmed Ouf, and I’m proud to be running as an Independent candidate for the Blaxland electorate. My journey has been shaped by resilience, hard work, and a deep commitment to serving my community.

As an experienced pharmacist, business owner, community advocate, and elected Councillor for Cumberland City, I am passionate about making a real difference in the lives of the people of Blaxland. I’m running because I believe it’s time for a fresh approach—one that prioritizes the needs of our community over political interests and puts people first.

My Journey to Australia

I arrived in Australia in 2010 from Egypt and have since made Sydney my home. My wife and I are proud parents to three boys, and we are deeply invested in the future of our local community. I’ve worked hard to build a life that gives back to the place that welcomed me, and I believe it’s now my time to serve as a representative for Blaxland.

Why I’m Running for Blaxland .

With over two decades of experience in pharmacy, I’ve built a career grounded in service, leadership, and a strong commitment to public health. I co-founded and managed two successful pharmacies, Pharmacy 4 Less and Priceline Auburn, where I’ve demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business operations, and community health initiatives. I’ve also mentored many young professionals in the field, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

In addition to my work as a pharmacist, I’ve been deeply involved in the local community through various volunteer roles. I have served on multiple boards and have helped plan and execute community projects, fundraising initiatives, and educational programs.

I also proudly serve as an elected Councillor for Cumberland City, where I work directly with my local community to address issues such as infrastructure development, housing, and community services. This role has given me valuable insight into local government processes, and I’ve used this experience to advocate effectively for the people of Blaxland.

I am committed to improving the lives of those around me, whether through providing essential healthcare services, supporting local businesses, or advocating for the needs of our community.
